And now, it also stands for a little something else. The Riccionic Improved Communications Enterprise, a project similar in existance to the RURP, is a project dedicated to exactly what it implies: I intend to improve my communication skills. As this may seem rather silly, I will note that over the past few years, a trend of bashfulness and lacking confidence has given way to a lack of communicative ability, enough so that it's become a problem enough for me to focus on.
RICE does not intend to work fast, nor is it known how effective it will be. It is however, the first time the problem has become a focus and the first time it has been met with a possible solution.

This may or may not indirectly improve PTE posts, pertaining mostly to content quality and length.

Riccy Rules are nearing completion. I've decided they should stop at 50; since I can't think of any good ones and once I've hit 50 any better ones I think of can replace the worse ones.

There's not a lot to report on in life. February is quickly approaching, meaning the greatest teeth-grinder holiday is on its way. I plan to ruin PTE gloriously for it.
There's also essays ahoy and tests galore. And a plan to visit New City again to ski.

Right now I'm constantly on edge about assignments as classes have (as expected) began to run their usual course of increasing difficulty exponentially. During February I should be a full blown mess.

In other news, thanks to the encouragement of my friends, I've recently been taking another crack at trying to finish/make Jenny's Quiz. Progress is being made, but distractions are still horribly high and progress is still slow as hell. Also, distractions are an endless problem as the very things needed to help create the game distract me. ie. Music, images, information, etc.

I've also recently been going through rapid music phases. Over the past few days, I've gone from House to Hip Hop to Heavy Metal to Hardstyle. This has nothing to do with anything, but I'm now aware all the music styles start with 'H'. I dunno lol.

2011: In Review

The "Final Year of Civilization" is among us, So what I thought I'd do was, I thought I'd reflect on this year for the sake of reflecting on this year.

January: January started gloriously with the Green Vs. Purple Fight, in which the most wonderful Green won by a landslide in a voting competition. Then I turned PTE into Cafechan 2.0, which was a parody of a forum I once ran known as cafe-chan, famous for next to no posting, me being a try-hard trying to make it cool, then deleting like half of it because I thought that

would fix it but managed to only make it worse. It's been removed since 2010. After the troll, Exams started, and more famously, this was when my sister planned to escaped New City and fled back to hometown, planning to never return. This was also when I had my famous Sim City addiction, the longest and most powerful video game addiction that I've ever had. The month ended with me becoming obsessed with a stupid flash thing, I dunno lol.

February: The month began with the final semester of High School finally starting. This was the only time when I liked advanced drawing, in a few weeks, I would learn to hate it. This was also when I had a Transcript crisis, which was simply me not having my transcript sent to the University I'm going to now. As you might have guessed, it was resolved. Following this was a rather dark period, as not only did I get stupidly sick, but the famous Bandit bit yet another person, this time a dog groomer. They basically told us that as he is a liability, we can either put him down or they will. So El Bandito was put down. However, What followed the dark period was some of the greatest two posts on PTE in a long time: The Hardcore Chicken Post and the Ric Olzow Chick Magnet post. Then I made progress on flash stuff, took some quiz thing, tried laser tag for the first time, and that's about it.

March: March began with the announcement of the usual spring break trip to Hometown, named 'March Madness 2'. (Because March Meet 2 sounded silly.) After I whipped out Charnames.swf (The Characters of Ric Olzow), which ended up being submitted to Newgrounds months later for the decent score of 2.3/5. (For a movie with 7 frames, I'm not complaining.) Then Japan got rocked by an Earthquake, the nuclear crisis broke out and I figured I was going to end up mutant when it blew. LUCKILY IT DIDN'T! :D Then I made a terrible K-On/sons of butcher mash-up that snowfire hated. I also created the Ric Olzow Company logo thing, which has already been updated now. Though the company (if it can be called so) really isn't doing anything different than OBP or Internetwork. Same shit, different name.

April: It started with reflection on MM2, most famous for the K-Day 2010(2011?) Party.(Thanks to Snowfire!) Then I pondered privatizing PTE, (KK-N also pondered doing the same much later, ended up with same result as us) planned more flash projects that never happened, and got addicted to Cityville. After, another big thing happened: The Great Riccy-18. I went to a strip club for my 18th birthday, and there was much disapproval, in which I didn't really care because it was a great time. :D After it though, not much else happened for the rest of the month, other than the PTE logo incorporating Riccy, Amy, and Jenny.

May: The major highlight here was me voting in a federal election for the first time. Who I voted for lost, but its the fact I did that counts. Then another Brutal Week popped up, but then it didn't because I missed the whole thing being sick with bronchitis. I then attempted to set myself due dates for Jennys Quiz which was a fail. WORTH A SHOT THOUGH AMIRITE. Then Graduation was drawing near and school was turning annoying with a bajillion things I didn't do due much too soon.

June: The Final Week of High School was quickly approaching and I was in a short animu phase. Then PTE got destroyed with Party Hard Mode, Final Week Happened, and perhaps one of the most important thing to happen in 2011 happened: I got accepted into the University in Hometown!! The other most important thing was the end of the 1000 days countdown, a countdown that had made New City's terrible beginnings more bearable. As it turned out, 1000 succeeded as both PJ and I achieved what we really wanted at the end of 1000. However, we still failed on BEING IN THE SAME DAMN CITY. C'est la vie. After, the big 7 was introduced, which was the day of when I would be MOVING back to Hometown: 7/7/11. June was certainly the most epic month of the year. December is a close second.

This was also when youtube finally started banhammering the Random Crap series and when I found out the hard way that I don't handle gore too well.

July: 1000 ending post, and the final post from New City. (Fun fact: This is being posted from New City!) Then I had a week vacation at a lake with family was a nice time n stuff. Then I came back. Then I went on another short vacation to the US. Then I came back. Then it was August.

August: So it started with me going away again, this time to a friend's cottage. Then I came back, finally to stay. I got a certain old memorabilia back, after a friend had held on to it for 3 years. (He's threatening to take it again if I move back to New City again) Then I made another great PTE logo (This time with more ladies~) and then I got hit with a nice batch of homesickness. Then Snowfire 'hacked' PTE and turned it more purple than my hands on a cold winter day. I threatened a counter but I'm lazy and Green already won anyway so whatever. If anything I'm impressed by Snowfire's trolling skill.

Following this was a PC vs Mac thing, me beginning to handle new responsibilities, the beginning of the Rules Of Riccy, my first football game, and the epic bike ride which backfired hilariously.

Though it wasn't funny at the time but I laugh now. :D

September: University began and right away shit hit the fan. A math course that seemed daunting became the bane of my existence, til my eventual dropping of the course. Then Riccy-18 became a controversial matter as more people found out about it and stuff, luckily it soon blew over. PEOPLE GONNA DO WHAT PEOPLE GONNA DO, AND I, I DO SILLY THINGS BECAUSE I AM A SILLY PERSON, BUT I ENJOY SAID FACT. Then I trumped KK-N with finally mastering a code which enabled Flash movies. However I have yet to make use of this...

Then I started on Pegvlog, helped paint a wall (Ok I didnt but whatever I helped with inspiration and camerawork :P) and raged as my computer messed up with an msn error that is yet to be resolved.

October: The reality of how much I suck at essays came through, with the first essay being a bombshell and a half and leading to a nice 3am stay up period. The second one was worse though. Also I should mention that September was when I had my first experience with relationshippers, as my sister tried to fix me up with one of her friends. Such didn't work out at all. Then October came around and I admitted to liking a certain girl which caused an even bigger influx of people trying to force me into a relationship. After the first relationshipper mess I wasn't too keen on having the same thing happen twice, so I did nothing til the hype blew over. Now things are calm and that certain girl is my girlfriend :)

November: Stuff happened mostly Snowfire's Birthday, me dying from an essay, Amy Day, me pondering why I continue to fall on my face with animation and other stuff, and Barbecue Chips are Delicious.

December: First semester and all its magicalness came to a close, I had my first date, Things turned ultra chaotic right before my trip back to New City, especially with my ALL NIGHTER SUPER ESSAY #2 which turned out to be my best essay ever made. Then after a christmas party with peeps, I returned to New City, for a relaxing Christmas break. I also checked out a small town near here for animation reasons, though its not looking too likely at this point.

I'm here for 3 more days then I'm back to Hometown for SEMESTER 2! (Uni Edition)

And that's 2011. Next year is but as unknown as this one was, as we shall see what happens at the end of Project Here For A Year, AKA the moving back to Hometown Project.

Here's to hoping 2012 is even more radical than this year!

Sidetracking from Essay Writing and what it's revealed to me

- In terms of comics, It seems to me that some have done what I do but with less effort and more success.
- I'm a visual, spatial, independent, half-creative, half-pragmatic, half-applied, half-conceptual learner.
- That I could've used this book I'm reading for my last essay. FFFFFFFFFFF-
- That I have trouble with essays, because I do not like writing them, and therefore causes me to not want to, which therefore causes me not to.
- I'm wasting "Precious Essay Writing Time" making this post, and I don't care.
- I don't know how to become a known comic-writer
- Even if I found out I don't know if I would do anything about it due to my passive nature and lack of social skills.
- I enjoy pictures
- My visual learning curve and enjoyment of images may be why I love animation (and like film)
- The only reason I'm not doing film is I can't see myself succeeding in it at all, especially with my independent anti-social nature. (And my self perception of succeeding at constant failure, I'd say laziness too but making films ≠ essay writing)
- I only hate math because my base knowledge on math is lacking and I haven't tried to improve it.
- I like coding for the sole purpose of 'making cool things happen'
- I have no idea how to make a portfolio, which comically was the entire point of CBD.
- Part of the reason I have trouble with making Ric Olzow stuff is the clash between Realgen and RicGen, Where realgen is people, places and things that are real or based off of something real, and RicGen are people, places and things that have been entirely created by my imagination.
Ex: Pj is Realgen, Riccy is often considered Realgen as I tend to use him to portray myself. *Note: Ric ≠ Me*
Amy Raasolae, Jenny Boliparte, Tino and Tim, Taylor, all Ricgens.
--> Why Always involved Ric with the Ricgens? and why not just do a Realgen comic?
- Ric was created to be the ultimate main character, and everything that has been created has only been created when he HAS been in the spotlight. Psychoanalyze that if you really want to.
Realgens have been a pitched idea since the Internetwork, and to some extent the Internetwork is why I haven't cared to try realgens: When you portray people, their characters are expected to be exactly them, thus you literally need to know other people to a physically impossible extreme. The only reason Ric olzow works is because I used myself as a basis. And Pj is actually quite inaccurate, but I just have him be the 'film guy who gets annoyed by Riccy'. In general that's all I ever portrayed his character as, either being annoyed by or trolling Riccy.

There's probably more I could say, But I gotta get back to "Writing" this essay.

Remembering Stuff

Today I decided to view some older PTE posts, because I couldn't figure out what I wanted to post about. Lately PTE posting has somehow managed to become difficult, both in the sense of coming up with something to write and with not just saying the same things over and over. Plus the last post (in all its glory) is kinda hard to follow up on.

Anyway, I decided to look at the first post in November of 2009. Back then, The original Jenny Flash had been finished, and I had gotten over some yearly flu or whatever. (Speaking of which, I haven't had any sickness since like May or something for this year. It's only a matter of time though...)
I had also made plans to make some other flash thing that pretty much never happened.

The Original Jenny flash is something to note though. It reminds me that a pretty much stupid idea that really didn't turn out good at all managed to be the starting point for the Ric-Olzow Characters. The drawing of characters had been long existing before this time; however, it was not until this particular flash that I began shifting from "RealGen" Characters to Fictional ones.

First came Jenny, Then came Amy (Though there is evidence that actually suggests Amy appeared first, in a few different forms, and with a few different names. I might do a post about that later, just for entertainment value), Then the return of Tino and Tim, and Finally, in 2010, Taylor.

Combined with the "RealGen" character Riccy, these 6 characters form what can only be described as 'The Top Designed Riccy Characters'. They're dynamic. They're recognizable. They could even end up iconic.

Which leads me to my next point: How to take these carefully crafted creations, and 'go far' with them? Questions like this have had me stumped since even before 'The Internetwork Characters'. The options are endless: Comics, Movies, Music, Games, Art, Graffiti, Novels, etc.
But when it comes to actually pursuing a medium, and using it to try to achieve any sort of success, I seem to have always fallen flat.

I don't know if it's been a lack of skill, a lack of good ideas, or just plain laziness. My skills in different mediums have slowly improved over time, however they still don't really compare to more 'popular' media. Granted my style is somewhat unique,however it does borrow from many existing animation styles and combines them.

My ideas seem to always sound better as just ideas. Once I start trying to turn them into something more, I tend to either lose focus (Riccium Collection 2), give up on projects(T&T Comic animation), bite off more than I can chew (Jennys Quiz) or just use an idea which is already kinda doomed. (Business Penguin EP 2)

I don't know why these things happen as they do, and I'm constantly trying to figure out how to combat it. One thing I've realized is, the original Riccium Collection was not designed as a project on purpose. It was a true compilation of old flash loops I had made just to see if I COULD animate. The fact that it turned into my most successful movie to date, despite being completely random and referencing some things that no person on the internet would ever know, is pretty amazing. Though it could be argued that the only reason it was successful was due to the animation, as the site it was uploaded to is notorious for giving better ratings for animations that look nice, as opposed to focusing on content of said animations.

I figure the issue with trying to create Riccium Collection 2 is that I keep trying to actually design it on purpose, to make it an improved version of the first and something that people could actually understand completely. However, even if it was made, this is not likely the case.

I recently uploaded a flash called 'Ric-Olzow Characters' on the site that I had uploaded the Riccium Collection to. This featured the top 6 characters I had referenced earlier. The idea behind uploading this was to tell the users that I actually have more characters I like to use than the few (Jenny, Riccy, PJ, Amy) that had shown in previous movies. However, this would also cause confusion since PJ was not included as a Ric-Olzow character.

The confusion would occur in Riccium collection 2 due to character choice. I could use my top 6, but then people would wonder where PJ Olzow is. I could use the previous 4 that I have used, but then that would render the 'Ric-Olzow Characters' movie as somewhat useless.

Not only that, but PJ olzow has been a debated character choice for awhile. Pj Olzow is a "RealGen" character, just like Ric, who's likeness is actually owned by Pj-Olzow and the OBP. Granted that I am part of said OBP, and that the rights to using PJ are as simple as "Positive portrayal of PJ Olzow, with reference to the OBP company name". The rights are truly as simple as the general agreement between PJ and I over usage of the Pj Character.

Using Pj in movies has because a cautious matter for me though, and I've thought of not using him in recent works for a few reasons. Firstly, the RealGen Characters (any and all characters which are made as a likeness of a real person) are thought to have a 'pull', as if they are actually truly representing the person they resemble. If this case is true, the idea of making PJ date one of the 3 girls from the top 6 would very likely cause a backfire. The other option is to make PJ not date any of them, which would easily work, though if Riccium collection 2 has a maintained theme of love, (which is the current plan) he may become impossible to include. As well, usage of the Pj-Olzow character in general remains tough as how he interacts with all of the top 6 has never really been established.

In conclusion, BBQ Potato chips are delicious.

Behind the Short Posts

Things are crazy.

I know this beautiful girl who I really like but I can't seem to find the right moment to talk to her and tell her I feel about her.
I've thought about just texting her but thanks to some relationshippers, I'm afraid of how she'd take it now.
I'm stuck in a rut and them relationshippers just keep questioning my manliness, my assertiveness and other traits. Some shitstorming has occured because of this. I'm not trying to make Relationshippers out to be bad people, because they have good intention, but they don't seem to know what theyre saying. It sounds better in their mind than I seem to interpret at least.

I don't even know what to do anymore, and I'm getting sick of the advice. I'm getting sick of 'OMFG BUDDY ITS SO SIMPLE YOURE MAKING IT HARDER THAN IT SHOULD BE'
'JUST ASK HER OUT ALREADY' 'MAN UP BRO'
Maybe I'm a little rattled because I was persuing a different girl not too long before this and it didn't go to well, thanks to, you guessed it, relationshippers. But no relationshipper seems to factor that in, they seem to take everything at face value and blam me whilest I stall. I shouldn't stall, but once again, I just dunno what to do.

Being lost sucks. Then you factor in the stress of school, and everything gets a lot worse. When I'm not stressing about assignments that aren't done, I stress about above. When I'm not stressing about that, I'm stressing about school. I shouldn't be stressed about either. I kinda feel like I should just move back, back to New City. Take some time, go learn animation at some college or whatever. Live at home for a bit, til I get myself some direction, some confidence, some skill.
But then I look at it and it seems like I'm just trying to run from my problems.

I know these problems are probably small and insignificant, and that I'm probably stressing out for nothing. But dammit, I'm stressing.

I wish I could just make a bunch of animations, get famous, get rich, get confident, and make everything awesome.

SO I REALIZE NOW THAT I FORGOT TO ASK QUESTIONS, OR ANSWER ANY, AND I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT MAKING IT AND I DUNNO WHY BUT YEAH.

As for the DV cable thing, I recorded my room on an old school video camera. Long story short I learnt the hard way that usbs dont work the way I thought they did, and I now need a dv cable (which Pj has offered to provide me once he comes back :P Cuz hes awesome like that)

Also yeah my computer seriously crapped out 3 times recording it, which attributes to how it is. I did have to do a bunch of re-recording and stuff and yeaahhh.

I hate my webcam.

So I was at the university today and whatever, and I forgot my lunch, so I decided to buy some subway.

So the subway lady was very snippy and whatever but I didnt really care because I was hungry. So I got a little 6 inch sub and all seemed okay.

Then later today my stomach gives me problems and yeah long story short: Something on that sandwich wasn't "Fresh".

So I just wasted 4 dollars on a bad sandwich with crap service.

In other news, that 18th birthday I had in New City has become an even more controversial matter.

Finally, I dropped math 1500. My stress levels are down, and my schedule actually has the shape of a smiley face! :) It's pretty cool~

Math 1500

So I finally finished the diagnostic test for that math class. It took a solid 3 hours, it was 50 questions long and it. was. a. challenge.

There was many things which I did not understand, which I recorded what concepts those were (loosely because some i couldn't even tell WHAT I didn't understand). There's about 6-7 things I'll have to work on to make my base for math stronger.
I also guessed for many questions and actually managed to get a few right. That was only luck though, cant rely on that. (But it proves that you should always answer the question, even if its a total shot in the dark)

As for the test, I scored 22 out of 50, or 44%. When I was in Math Pure 30, My mark was consistently 46%. Therefore I'm exactly where I was in grade 12, and it's exactly where I thought I'd be.

I'm going to talk to a councillor, and see my options. I will likely be stuck in the class, but will go into a side program called math 0500, which will try to bring me 'up to speed'. I've also talked to my mother about this, and we made a deal: I'll try my hardest and best, and if I'm still not getting anywhere, I can drop the course, to save my GPA from being...well...shit. It would be a backup, and of course, if I'm not trying my hardest and I just fail, that option also disappears.

OK so

here's how things are looking so far:

Arts 1110: Solid course which should help me turn my absolute failure of essays into mediocre literature. TA seems nice and heard good about the prof.

Math 1500: So I found math pure in university....

...and I'm going to be doing a quiz and some thorough testing to see where my math skills stand, as I see it they are nowhere near ready for calculus. The results will speak more than my opinion though.

However this course may be detrimental to one of the paths I want to take to get a certain degree. I may have to bite the grindstone for it.

Will update results on this matter next post. Probably.

Environmental Design 1600: It has a bit of an advanced drawing feel to it, but I'm putting my faith that it won't turn into that and that I won't totally hate the course. It seems more loose than Advanced drawing, plus less...drawing.... And the prof seems awesome too :P We'll have to see what happens.

In other news, I went to my first football game yesterday. Was pretty entertaining, I at least knew what was going on for the most part. Oh yeah, and our team won :P

Finally, I'm planning an epic bike ride tomorrow. I'm gonna test out part of the route today to make sure I can even try to do it tomorrow, and to make sure what I'm planning on taking actually exists. (Google maps cough cough kinda unreliable cough cough)

So it's been a wild week or so since my mom has left, responsibility has surprised me with its sudden extensiveness and thus 'settling in' has been less than easy.
Part of that wild week has been learning buses, which until now I've been doing wrong. (As expected) Because of which, I have decided to make a list of 'The Rules of Riccy' (something similar to The rules of the Internet - a survival guide that I must use to get through life here lol)

Redesign, Rectify, Re-purpose?

As I've recently gotten flash, I've taken a stab at getting some work done, one of my projects involving a different blog idea I'm working on. While I was doing so, I took a moment to examine PTE. I realized this blog is currently purposeless, as it was mostly a 'hey guise im stuck in new city heres a post because im not dead and you get to know whats going on with my life'.

I also realized that if I am going to make a new picture each post, post quantity is going to have to slow down, as its hard to bring myself to work in flash and come up with new ideas and new pictures every 3 days. (I'm a perfectionist and Flash can be very frustrating.)

I'm still thinking about where I'm going next with this blog. I know that certain members of this blog won't be around Hometown for long, so I was thinking about keeping it as a 'whats goin on with ric' blog. I've pondered the idea of also doing comics, but I've always kept PTE a 'riccys personal blog of noobness', and the idea of trying to make it more public, not only could backfire profusely, but I'm not too comfortable with it either. If anything, I'd rather do that idea in a seperate blog, but after the Animanga-R blog, I'm not exactly feeling like jumping into extra blog projects atm. (Not counting TGB)

In other news, My sister is a dicknugget. More on that later.

So yeah I went this weekend to Jay's cabin and it was pretty awesome n stuff :P Got the last of my beach days in, doubt I'll be going to the beach any more this year. I've had my fill though, so I ain't even sad.

In other news, Now I'm back, I'll be continuing adjusting here, trying to see all my friends before they all go moving away (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE), and working on the new blog project between Enzo, Jay and I.

Anyway, I went down to North Dewkota (I say Dewkota because to me, it seemed that Mountain Dew was really popular there) and bought a bunch of stuff, like T-shirts, Cereal, Candy, you know, sound investments.
And yeah I had a great time, funnest thing to happen to me since school ending. :P

In other news, this is a reminder that as of august I'm supposively switching to bussing. What that means is if you want me to come over, expect at least a one hour delay, depending on bus schedules. You'll also need to bear with me as I learn the buses and system.
Biking is also an option in warmer months but that may take 1-3 hours. The true time has not been tested as I have yet to attempt it.

Finally, I have yet to get Flash again. I'm gonna get it eventually, and try to make a flash idea, maybe one good enough to start bringing in $. We'll see how that works out.
For now, I've mainly just been playing vidya games, mostly Minecraft. :P

So I was watching this thing about all these crazy stories where people died and long story short there was one where these two guys got high before work and decided to mess around, one guy was driving a truck and the other was on a little platform with wheels with a rope tied around himself connected to the truck with the rope dragging behind. So the guy in the truck turns the corner and the trailing rope catches on something and the guy on the platform gets stuck with the truck guy still driving and so the rope rips straight through his torso, and this show did the whole reenactment thing too (right down to the guts spilling out).

tl;dr I managed to become so disturbed that I actually went into shock.
And blacked out.

As I will be doing much cleaning and packing for my move coming soon, my time spent on the computer may or may not be affected. (I'm lazy and slow, so either the rooms gonna take me awhile or I'll be too lazy to start and get into trouble and either way its gonna take awhile)
This has no negative repercussions or really any repercussions concerning anyone at all, other than less MSN-ing and general delay on responsive type things. (including but not limited to Big 7 updating)

In other news I was also thinking about sorting out my files again, as I've gained a rather comic (well I see it as comic anyway) issue. My folders have all become flooded with folder content-related...stuff.... and so now finding stuff that isn't... yeah... is becoming hard to do! So I might have to delete... that stuff... that is flooding those folders. Also THIS because I finally updated it again :P (And for one of the last times~~~)

By the sounds of it, everyone else is already done school, exams and all. I envy that, because I still got 1 more to go. Though I'm sure I've already mentioned that fact many many times already. Studying isn't going to well though. :/

In other news, The epic countdown that was started well over 2 years ago is coming to a close very soon. July 1st, 2011, the day set to be the finish date for 1000, is a mere 11 days away. (Or 10, if you don't count July 1st) I dunno what I'm going to do for it yet.

Speaking of countdowns, another epic countdown just a week further of 1000's end is also raising excitement. The Big 7, as I call it (Named since it happens on 7/7), will be the true beginning of summer for me, as not only will I be visiting my hometown that day, but I will ALSO BE MOVING BACK!

I'll be adding countdowns to PTE for both events soon. I'll try not to let the future distract me from here and now. No guarantees though. :P

I got this weekend only to finish all my projects for advanced drawing. >( Monday will be a bombshell of a hell of a terribad day, Not only do I have to go try to hand in projects of advanced drawing to a pissed off teacher who basically hates my guts, I have the hardest exam which defines whether I go to university or not right after. ITS LIKE ALL THE BAD THINGS CONDENSED AND NOW THEY'RE COMING REALLY SOON.

Monday Aside, after that there is only 2 exam days left, which Terribad Monday is the LA exam part A, aka 'ESSAY WRITING'. Pro-tip: Still can't write good essays. At least I know how to format/spell-check now though. (Thanks PJ!)
Thursday will be the Exam part B for LA, which is Multiple Choice. The next Thursday thereafter will be the Math Exam.

Thanks to a friend of mine in Advanced Drawing, I've slipped back into the anime phase. AFTER 4 YEARS AND FINALLY GETTING OUT OF IT I MEAN REALLY

That aside, the anime that drew me back in is 'Angel Beats'. I could give a long review thing like I did for that other anime in 2009, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut nah.

In other news, I'm skipping school Thursday. Nobody in my grades really going anyway. (Day after grad, etc. ) It'll be the first time that I've ever skipped an entire day of school (non-accidental). With that I will now have another 4 day weekend, I'll maybe try to actually do some work during this one.

Speaking of work, Jenny's Quiz is very likely to be delayed on demo release. The full version remains set for June 30th though. I'll have to see about the demo, if I am going to reschedule I'll post new date(s) next post.

As you may have noticed, I brought back the whole "Music from Youtube" thing, this time its 'Recommended Paper Train Express Back-Ground Music'. In other words, it's supposed to set a mood for the latest blog post. Or it might just be there just because it's awesome. Or both. Either way, its there. It's optional. It's my way of making PTE just a bit more fun. :D

Speaking of fun, I get to write a cumulative exam in math tomorrow (that's right I didn't miss it boo yeah :P) and I get to dance and lip-sync to beyonce's 'All the single ladies' in front of a crowd of people...while wearing a scarf....and white gloves...and a corset....ANYWAY! After that It'll be a chill afternoon (I hope) then A nice long weekend, where I plan to either work on Jenny's Quiz or blow the whole weekend on video games and anime. WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS!

Finally, I'm still battling the age old dilemma of New City vs Hometown. Due to a recent mishap, New City is once again a lesser likely chance. Not to say it's ruled out completely; Just that I'm back to where I was in April, in terms of deciding what to do after high school. I must admit, even though the city choice problem has always been floating at the back of my mind, in a weird way, it's exciting... Imagining every outcome possible...Not knowing what to do... Or where to go... Or what will happen...
July will be one hell of a month. :P

Brutal Weak II, PTE returns, Jenny's Quiz update

Well Brutal Week 2 is over. And boy, that was far from Brutal.

Anyway, Ignoring that BRUTAL failure, PTE IS BACK TO POSTING USELESS INFORMATION ABOUT ME! I'm also thinking of making and tossing up some comics in place of real posts, if I have nothing to post about. We'll see how that works out.

I also have Jenny's quiz FINALLY in the works, which will likely take forever and a day. Then again it can't take any longer than the planning process (which was roughly 6 months).

I've set some loose due dates, There will be a demo version available for a select few interested (of which those will be credited as testers when its done if they do test it for me) sometime later this month. The only catch to testing is I'll need feedback so I know what to fix to make my game more polished. (I'm planning on making it Either E-rated or T-Rated.)

I'm hoping to have the demo ready by May 30th, and the full game released by June 30th. I'll use the movies page to keep y'all updated. :P

Fatality Friday was my first day back, and as far as a brutal day goes, it was far from it. Only real brutal thing was a unit test for math. Otherwise I just caught up on all my classes (as far as I know)

Brutal Week II: Turbulence Tuesday

Turbulence Tuesday hasn't really been all that turbulent.

Aside from finding out that what I got was Acute Bronchitis, nothing really brutal happened. My body's fight-o-ing it, so I'll probably be 100% soon enough. I'm hoping to be back to school as early as tomorrow, so I can at least experience some bit of brutal week.

The only other brutal thing is me trying to do some catch-up homework. Damn you Language Arts.

Brutal Week II: Melancholy Monday

Well, this weekend was certainly melancholy. A flu spread in our house and I've been sick since Friday evening. Saturday when I posted the thing about brutal week II, I was battling a headache. (Had taken aspirin by then, was kicking in slowly but surely.) Basically, I spent my whole weekend sleeping and being sick. :/

Today however, I am feeling more recovered. I still had to stay home though. Running fever and hoarse coughing were not ideal health issues for school. This now makes tomorrow's school day even more brutal (If I can go), as I have missed the math test review, as well as the start of independent projects, meaning everyone else already has their plans started, so now I hafta come up with mine. (most likely a monologue)
I also am going to the doctor tomorrow (though I don't really need to...) which may cause brutal week to be set back even further, making Wrathful Wednesday the roughest day possible.

Finally, I whipped up a new logo for the OBP, which got PJ's approval, so it will be used in Jenny's Quiz. Here it is:

Brutal Week II: The Final Full Week

IT BEGINS MONDAY

The last FULL 5 day week of school. After this school gets scattered into 2-4 day weeks til the exam.
As well, what makes this the brutal week is not only this week being the last 5 day week, but this Friday will be a regular length day as well due to grad rehearsal. There's also another personal response to text incoming, a supposed Cumulative Exam coming this week, plus the Final Independent Projects for Drama. Advanced Drawing will also be busting my balls as I attempt to catch up assignments.

Now then, Since I will be having yet another Brutal Week, I won't be working on Jenny's Quiz. (Not that I really have been...) I have decided it will likely be out by June 30th.

It was an experience that only a kid like me would be so amazed by. :P I got a lapdance and watch girls strip and all that, and even ended up getting a bunch of swag! The grand event that is my birthday is a mere 6 days away! I have quite a few things planned out for it, you can expect that PTE will look way different. I'm also thinking of cutting my hair short and dying it black on that day.

Alcoholic Ric

As catchy as that sounds, I don't intend to change my alcoholic-drinking behavior after Riccy-18. I'm still careful with the stuff, mostly because though the idea of being so drunk that you cannot control yourself is somewhat appealing to me, the idea of puking your guts out isn't.

Brutal Week

Remember last year, when I had that week where every post was like "HOLY BALLS TODAY WAS SO TERRIBLE I HATE MY LIFE"? I was half-expecting something like that to happen again this year, however, it looks as though I might actually escape that. The 3rd week of April, thought to be the Brutal Week, happens to be a P/T interview week, So I'll likely get at least Friday off, perhaps even the Thursday. tl;dr POSSIBLY NO BRUTAL WEEK THIS APRIL! :D (It might happen in May though.)

PTE: Privatized?

I've been pondering Privatizing PTE for awhile now. I realize that PTE was originally a blog which was supposed to be my 'website', but it's really evolved (read: devolved) into more of a personal news journal centered around me. And though that's not necessarily a bad thing to show the world, I have to keep dancing around details and stuff because I don't want personal information getting out. If privatized (either for blog authors only or for select people), then I can put in more details and stuff.

Projects Etc.: Jenny's Quiz & Riccius

Yes, Jenny's Quiz is still on the back-burner. Riccius is a game idea I've been working at for a few weeks now. It's basically a classic 2D space shooter, just with Riccy-stuff. However, I am lacking in scripting skills, so if I made it, it would be a 2D space shooter, except without you having a weapon. DODGE THE ENEMIES YEAH! ...Also it's a colossal amount of work, every stage would have to be drawn out and edited to move and action scripted and all the enemies individually scripted and edited to move and oh god just thinking about it hurts. THE BOSSES WOULD BE COOL THOUGH :D

Pokemon: Riccy Edition

I recently downloaded some stuff and tl;dr I can edit Pokemon games! That being said, it's pretty hard to do, especially when it comes to changing things like text, which happens to be all scripting. (I already suck at action-script and this ain't any better) I was planning on making a Pokemon:Riccy Edition game, however the amount of work and editing behind it has turned me off of the idea. It's more work than making Jenny's Quiz and Riccius Combined!

Cityville: Sim City Addiction Part II

After my insane Sim City 4 addiction, is it any surprise that I have another game addiction to a game that is conceptually similar to Sim City? The Cityville addiction is not as extreme as the Sim City Addiction was, as I can't actually spend 8 hours straight playing it, however I have been playing it near daily lately, due to boredom and because I find it really entertaining. REMEMBER WHEN I SAID I'D NEVER FALL FOR A FACEBOOK GAME? LOL FML

MM2 update

So I'm gonna try to get in contact with my sister tomorrow and (maybe) finally get my cellphone (and get rid of her crap that i had to bring)

In other news, MM2 has been pretty kick-ass so far! I found out the only thing I forgot to pack (as there is always something, every time. sigh...) was my comb. Luckily this wasn't something essential, as opposed to something like a toothbrush or deodorant. Hell, it was really lucky that it was the only thing, and it was that particularly. My hair only needs the comb to shape it when its wet, but extra drying and using my hands seems to work just fine. The side effect is, I get more stray hairs sticking out.

Anyway, enough about my hair (lol), in more interesting news, I got pokemon black! (and pj got pokemon white) So far I've gotten to the second gym, which I found really irritating. It asks you a bunch of questions to advance to the gym leader, and I got EVERY QUESTION WRONG. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm not good at knowledge :D

But yeah other than that, I herd rumor about a party thursday that Imma probably go to, as well I'm gonna try to see some other peeps of mine while I'm here in this city of Swamp-dwellers. (ehehehehehehe)
